Meet your new favorite mug. This handcrafted mug is part of a collection designed for the everyday - allowing a singular print to shine, quietly patterned & uncomplicated - they can be easily coordinated with tableware you already have. Each piece is handmade, wheel thrown using a porcelain clay body, and screenprinted by hand with original prints and patterns. This mug is printed with a peony in pink and gray and glazed in a light pink and a gray green on the outside. Microwave & dishwasher safe :) p.s. due to the nature of handmade ceramics and issues in the ceramic supply chain, there may be slight variations in size, color and glaze consistency. Handcrafted in Atlanta, GA.
City in Bloom Ceramics is owned and operated by Meredith Bradley, a designer + full time maker, dedicated to bringing beautiful handmade pieces to an audience that desires more than the mass produced impersonal wares our lives are so often cluttered with. Her focus is on small batch tableware, that exhibit her skills in layout, pattern, and screenprinting. Inspired by florals, industrial imagery taken from the city, and fierce animals - each illustration is hand drawn, made into a screen, and then used to print directly on the surface of the wheel thrown or hand built porcelain pieces. Pieces celebrate a connection - between maker and form - between user and life's small moments that often pass by too fast and unnoticed. I hope you drink your morning coffee out of one of these mugs and are pumped to take it on - whatever it is.
