Brass Half Moon Hair Pin

This simple hammered brass half-circle is designed to hold a half or full bun and is made with a sturdy 12 gauge solid brass wire. We've hammered the circle so that you're able to mold it to the amount of hair that you'd most like to hold, making it both functional and decorative to securely hold your hair in a bun or twist.

I (Kimberly) am in the studio as a second generation silversmith, creating with sustainability and simplicity in mind. My passion is in traditional hand-forging techniques and the use of found and recycled objects, like sea glass with recycled and sustainable metals. Working in the smallest environmental footprint possible is paramount to me and I think that these materials demonstrate the true spirit of Sustainability!
