About the design of the Golden Ratio: Throughout history, the ratio for length to width of rectangles of 1.618033988 74989484820 has been considered the most pleasing to the eye. This ratio was named the golden ratio by the Greeks. In the world of mathematics, the numeric value is called "phi" (φ), named for the Greek sculptor Phidias. The space between the columns form golden rectangles.

Zacharias Art + Object is an artistic creation of aesthetic value. Our motto has always been “Inspired by Art History” and our desire is to express our very own point of view through design, as well as to keep learning, trying always to do something new. We follow traditional handcraft techniques like silkscreen printing, leather sewing, Japanese bookbinding, and recently we started producing objects with laser cutter. Our studio is a creative workshop based in Exarcheia, Athens. Exarcheia, our neighborhood, is renowned for being Athens' historical centre of all kinds of different political and intellectual activism, located in downtown Athens, the city we love for its historical and contemporary.
